Summer Writing Project, from 2014-2016, was an educational program in collaboration with California Public Libraries that advocated for writing and supported reading through the serialization of storytelling.
The Summer Writing Project provided authors with the opportunity to craft their stories one chapter at a time with immediate quantitative and qualitative feedback from their readers, while also broadcasting their words to an audience eager for the next great storyteller. Write together. Read together.
We also partnered with local bookstores, libraries, and universities to schedule a series of live educational lectures, panels, and workshops that were also recorded for podcast. Throughout the project over 7,042,952 words were written, 936,359 stories were read, and our informative podcasts were downloaded 67,102 times.
