Mark your waypoint: Emotional expression

Emotional expression is the acknowledgement of the emotions we feel. We need to have awareness of these emotions as they happen. It is also important to recognize situations that make them happen. [11]

Emotions are your compass. Map your mood and navigate your emotional journey. Select a waypoint associated with your feelings:

  • Celebrating birthday
  • Completing education
  • Starting new job
  • Moving into new home
  • Finding a partner
  • Experiencing heartbreak
  • Fitness accomplishments
  • Becoming a parent
  • Dealing with death

Landmarks used as waypoints can be natural or manmade, trees or billboards. Waypoints can also hold navigation devices used for collecting data, buoys in the ocean or satellites in the sky. An ocean buoy can transmit information about water temperature, salinity, and chemical properties at that waypoint. [12]

OKAY FINE waypoints are also designed to provide information and insight to help process emotions and let them pass in a healthy and productive way—marking where you’ve been and where you're going.
